Short Time Lapse of a Watercolour Landscape

After quitting my teaching job at Sydney University last year (thanks COVID) I (recently) decided to take up watercolour painting again (Last time I painted was 35 years ago, so this first attempt is a little rusty). After spending more than 20 years trying to make a photo look like a painting using Photoshop I think it's somewhat ironic to find myself now painting from a photo...

Making this was easy - after each session I took a snap with my iPhone, then stacked them into a layered Photoshop file to tweak the size and angle using a software transform command. The files were then loaded into Davinci Resolve and output as the short video you see here.
